Is a wiki a good vehicle for storing and serving business forms? We set up this wiki as a test site to find out. We have a lot of business forms that we'd like to make available to customers, and we're looking for a good platform to do that. This is our first time using a wiki so we are not exactly sure how it works, and what it is capable of Based on what I've seen so far I think it's a great platform with lots of potential to help us serve our customers. \
One of the questions I have is whether we will be able to provide each customer with a custom programmed set of forms which will have their business name, address and other data pre-filled in. Will this be possible with Xwiki. I read that the Xwiki manager makes it easy to have "farms" of wikis, so I am thinking we could have a farm for our customers, with each one getting a separately customized set of forms using variables (
,"<"name">","<"address">", and so on) which will be filled in by reference to a database. Does all this seem doable? Comments are welcome.
